Dates: Begins May 12th and continues throughout summer.
Location: Historic Newtown of Sarasota
Description: This is a special project that will bless homeowners over 70 years of age in Newtown. Your church can adopt a house and re-habitat it. The homes range in level of need from simple projects (painting, etc.) to more skilled construction needs.

• Volunteers can work as many or as few Saturdays as they desire
• Volunteers can be used regardless of skill-level
• Work hours generally are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Work on houses generally begins with yard clean-up and proceeds to repairs on the home
• Appropriate clothing includes closed toe shoes, long pants and a tee shirt. Work gloves are also recommended
• When possible, bring own tools such as hammers, screw drivers, yard tools, etc.
